Our Technical Product Manager will have overall responsibility for Setaram’s range of thermal analysis, calorimetry and sorption instrumentation designed for and offered to research laboratories in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell development. Hydrogen Fuel cells is a rapidly developing field, for which Setaram has a full range of highly innovative and competitive products.

The candidate for this position will need to have a detailed experience in the techniques used in the development of hydrogen storage materials and/or catalyst research as well as a strong commercial and/or marketing background.

Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the development of a creative marketing strategy for a range of new and existing products, education and motivation of an existing sales team and distribution networks. It is important for you to have daily input into the operations and developments in the production department. Equally important is the responsibility to understand and monitor the market for any trends and new developments and to subsequently assist and steer our products R&D teams.
The position will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area (CA) but there will be travel, US and globally, to interface with team members, clients and to attend key shows and conferences.

The key skills we are looking for include a minimum of 3 years in product management position, together with a proven track record of creative and target driven market development. An educational background in Chemistry, Material Science or related disciplines in important as well as experience working with typical office reporting software.
