SETSYS Evolution TGA-DTA/DSC: a balance with very high stability and fidelity
SETARAM has brought its extensive experience in the field of balances into play in designing the SETSYS Evolution TGA, a weighing module with exceptional performance. With a maximum capacity of 35 grams the balance is well suited to analysis of samples ranging from microquantities (a few milligrams) to bulky and dense materials, while maintaining a measuring resolution of a microgram whatever the mass analyzed. Of beam and torsion band design, the SETSYS Evolution TGA balance displays great stability, fidelity and sensitivity provided by a high-performance, optical and electronic detection system. The weighing module is robust and made fluid-tight for work under vacuum or with gas scavenging. A version of the balance with a maximum capacity of 100 g is also available.
Simultaneous TGA-DTA/DSC measurements are available using all the different DTA/DSC transducers to cover the following temperature ranges:
Simultaneous TGA-DTA: ambient to 2400°C,
Simultaneous TGA-DSC: ambient to 1600°C.
Coupling with MS, FTIR, GC, etc. gas analyzers by either thermoregulated capillary or the SuperSonic System (sampling by supersonic expansion) for mass spectrometry measurements of up to 1024 amu (heavy and condensable molecules).
